Silver Results
Hi everyone,
Before I share the great news from Silvers this weekend, I need to go back to the Greece meet last weekend.
HAST had two swimmers win the 'age group' high point award for Super Sprint Saturday. Jami Barber and Whitney Hickey each took first place for their age group. Both girls did an excellent job of 'finishing' all of their races. Great job girls!!
Silver's this weekend was awesome. Best times were made in many events, and every swimmer made it back to finals in the evening. The scoring after Sunday pre-lims had our club in 10th place. We had a few swimmers on top of their indivdual age group in points. The scoring was coming out a little slow Sunday night, so we'll have to wait a day or two to find out those exact results.
The main goal of going to a Silver meet is to make 'Gold' cut times. That was our team focus, and the swimmers really delivered. In total we had 19 Gold times made. Yes.....19!!! The swimmers who made new gold times were:
Emma Dorschel: 1000 free, 50fly, 100 free, 50 back
Amelia Dorschel: 200 breast
Morgan Burns: 50 fly, 100 free
Katelyn Barber: 50 breast, 50 fly, 100IM
Rachel Kobel: 50 free
Kathryn Przybyszewski: 100IM, 100 free, 200IM
Amy Sharn: 100 back
Emma Snow: 100 IM, 50 free, 100 fly, 100 breast
Congratulations to all of these swimmers!!! Keep up the good work and keep traing hard.
A few swimmers at the meet just missed making their 'cuts'. We'll get those at the next meet.
