Hilton Area Swim Team (HAST)

On Tuesday, 12/30/08, swimmers are invited to stay after evening practice for a holiday celebration in the cafeteria. Coach Snow will be making pancakes!! HAST will provide pancakes and drinks. Additional treats are welcome. If you have leftover Christmas cookies, our swimmers would be happy to eat them up for you! Last year swimmers participated in a $5.00 gift exchange and really enjoyed it! If you would like to participate again please bring 1 wrapped $5.00 gift to the pancake gathering. Parents should plan to pick swimmers up around 8:30.

Practice today Monday January 22nd has been cancelled due to school being closed.

Anyone who swam at the Webster pentathalon, please review the glass case for the revised fees. The fees were incorrect in our program. Any questions please let me know.

The Niagara Bronze meet at Spencerport High School is January 17 and 18, 2009. Entries are due January 7, 2009. Please enter your swimmer at our new web site. If you have any trouble please email me at dlajuett@hiltonswimteam.org. Please remember your child must have bronze times in their events to swim at this meet.

Pictures will be taken on January 7th and 8th. Order forms will be in everyone mail boxes.

Practice for Friday 12/19 will be cancelled. All evening activities have been cancelled.

The practice for senior swimmers on Saturday December 20th has been changed to 8:00am - 10:00am.

Kathy Crassi brought all the coffee to the pool last night and many families were not there to pick up their coffee. I will only be at the pool this week Tuesday and Thursday (both late practices). Please see me to pick up your coffee ASAP. Thank you.

Unfortunately, there are many swim accounts past due. All payments were due December 1st. All dues should have been paid in full and all registration fees should have been paid as well. Those swimmers who do not pay their registration fee ($55) by 12/15/08 will be ineligible to swim meets this year. Beginning next week board members will be at the pool entrance. Swimmers who are not paid up to date will not be permitted to swim until accounts are made current. Janet will be sending bills through email. HOWEVER - there are several accounts with outdated email addresses. If you need a copy of your bill it is your responsibility to contact Janet (javery@rochester.rr.com ). Those facing true financial hardship can work out a payment plan with Janet on an individual basis.

The second dual meet will be held at our pool on Friday January 9th. Warm ups will be at 5:30 and the meet will start at 6:15. If you do not let Coach Snow know you will not be attending he will enter all swimmers 12 and under.

Hunter Q. left a boys black speedo practice suit(size 26) at the pool. If anyone has picked up his suit please see Hunter or one of the coaches.

HAST is supporting the Brockport Toy Shelf this year. We are hoping to collect at least 50 unwrapped toys by December 17th. Please place your toys in the box by the swimmers folders. Please show your support.

December 1st has come and gone! All accounts need to be paid in full! The second payment of the season was due December 1st as well as all registration fees. Payments should be placed in the Avery folder.
