Hilton Area Swim Team (HAST)

Just a reminder the coaches would like to have a fun night on October 12th. We will be swimming from 5:30 until 6:00 and than fun night will begin. Coach Snow will be making pancakes and we are asking parents bring some additional items. If anyone has an electric pan or griddle please let us know. Food will be set up in the room next to the pool. A sign up sheet will be at the pool. Please have these items to the pool by 5:30 Friday. The coaches would like ALL swimmers to attend. This a great time for the swimmers to bond as a team. Any questions please let us know.

The Deep End will be at the pool again on Monday, October 1st, 5:00-5:30 to do suit fittings and take orders. If a suit is needed please be sure to get your order in!

1st senior meet for McDonald's league is on 13th of October. Location not for sure, Please email coach snow with your entries. We will be using Format 1, this is just a reminder HS swimmers you must get in 2 Senior meets to be able to swim Championships. THEIR WILL NOT BE ANY EXCEPTIONS. Any questions email coach snow.

Friday practice 9/28 -Will start late due to Modified home swim meet. This will push the whole practice back some, which will cause HAST to run into Open swim time. See everyone tonight. Just a reminder Oct 12 fun night, so plan on attending and you will also be able to enjoy Coach Snow's race meal (choclate Chip Pancakes).

The Deep End will be at the pool on Wednesday for suit fittings. Please arrive early because swimmers need to be fitted while DRY.

50% of HAST dues are due by October 1st! Checks can be placed in Avery file, sent to PO Box 174, Hilton, NY 14468, or you may pay using Pay Pal.

Clarification : All swimmers must submit a current registration form for this season. While the USA swim registration fee is not due until December 1st, ALL swimmers need to complete the HAST registration form so that we can keep our roster current. Additional registration forms are available at pool if needed.

HAST apparel orders are due October 3, 2007. We want to place the orders early this year so we don't have to worry about the "Holiday Crunch". Please return order forms to the Engle file. Additional forms are available at pool if needed. Thanks goes out to Tammy who has offered to handle this for us again this year!!

REMINDER

There will be a parent meeting for all NEW parents on Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Registration packets, handbooks and other important info will be distributed. This meeting is meant for parents of swimmers who are new to HAST this year and did not attend the 9/5/07 meeting. Board members will meet with you at 6:45 in the classroom next to the pool.

HAST practice time is changed for Tuesday, 9/11/07. We will be practicing 7:00 - 9:00 due to a Hilton girls JV/V home meet.

HAST begins the 2007/2008 season on Wednesday, September 5th. Practice starts at 5:30. All returning swimmers and parents are asked to attend an informational meeting at 6:45. Handbooks, registration packets and other important information will be distributed. PLEASE - MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND!!
