Fitness Room
Effective January 2nd, the fitness room will be available to all HAST parents every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 - 7:30. The fitness room is located next to the girls locker room. This is a trial period and we are hoping to increase the days if we can prove we are responsible adults. This will be a great way to fulfill some of those new years resolutions. Hope to see you than. Happy New Year.

HAST Swimming
Hi Team,
We have been asked by the High School boys swim team to run concessions for an invitational they are hosting on Friday Dec. 29th.
This would be a great way to do a quick fundraiser. With enough volunteers we could make short shifts for everyone.
If you and your swimmer are able to help, please let me know.
Thanks and Merry Christmas,
Coach John

Post Christmas party
A few parents asked if we would be interested in having the swimmers get together after swim practice on Friday December 29th for a post christmas party. We would like families to bring in snacks for the kids to munch on. We will have a snack sign up sheet at the pool. The party will begin at 7:00 after practice and will be held in the room next to the pool. Hope to see you all then. Have a great holiday.

Hilton Area Swim Team (HAST)
Just a reminder that there is a coach/parent meeting after practice on Wed....
I just got notice that the HAST apparel order is in and getting the embroidery done right now! They should be done this week!!
Also we have an opportunity to purchase some swimming items while making a bit of profit!! The package came in today and I will have it at practice on Wed., Thursday and Friday if needed. Parents can take a look at the products and purchase what you would like and the club makes 20%. There are flannel pants, hoodies, t shirts, knit hats and a few other novelty items, pretty decent prices as well. Come take a look at what we have!! Tammy

Silver Results
Hi everyone,
Before I share the great news from Silvers this weekend, I need to go back to the Greece meet last weekend.
HAST had two swimmers win the 'age group' high point award for Super Sprint Saturday. Jami Barber and Whitney Hickey each took first place for their age group. Both girls did an excellent job of 'finishing' all of their races. Great job girls!!
Silver's this weekend was awesome. Best times were made in many events, and every swimmer made it back to finals in the evening. The scoring after Sunday pre-lims had our club in 10th place. We had a few swimmers on top of their indivdual age group in points. The scoring was coming out a little slow Sunday night, so we'll have to wait a day or two to find out those exact results.
The main goal of going to a Silver meet is to make 'Gold' cut times. That was our team focus, and the swimmers really delivered. In total we had 19 Gold times made. Yes.....19!!! The swimmers who made new gold times were:
Emma Dorschel: 1000 free, 50fly, 100 free, 50 back
Amelia Dorschel: 200 breast
Morgan Burns: 50 fly, 100 free
Katelyn Barber: 50 breast, 50 fly, 100IM
Rachel Kobel: 50 free
Kathryn Przybyszewski: 100IM, 100 free, 200IM
Amy Sharn: 100 back
Emma Snow: 100 IM, 50 free, 100 fly, 100 breast
Congratulations to all of these swimmers!!! Keep up the good work and keep traing hard.
A few swimmers at the meet just missed making their 'cuts'. We'll get those at the next meet.
